A workshop is kinda like a class but shorter…and I’ve got two scheduled over the next few months through SICL/Stockton Institute for Continued Learning. That’s an all-volunteer group based out of my local community college – San Joaquin Delta College.
So if you’re in the area and want to pick up some pretty bare bones basics of video, check out their catalog. Oh – and you can also take everything from Financial Planning to Birdwatching and more. No credits/units. Just plain old fashioned for the fun of it learning.
Registration is this Saturday, February 10. https://www.deltacollege.edu/dept/sicl/
Each of the classes I’m leading run about an hour and a half to two hours over three days (Thursday afternoons)
Cell Phone/Tablet Photography and Video – for those who know how to turn the phone on and make calls, learn how to operate your phone/tablet’s camera to shoot and enhance and also basics of shooting and editing video.
Make A Movie – in three classes work as a team to write a script, shoot and act, and edit a short movie (probably three to five or six minutes long).
